- Objectives and General Considerations
These General Conditions are intended to regulate the Terms and Conditions by which the website www.peroteivebay.com, owned and operated by AZORES 7 DAY APARTMENTS, LDA, with tax identification number 515269042, and address at Pêro de Teive Bay Exclusive Apartments, Ladeira das Águas Quentes, 47/49, 9500-291 Ponta Delgada, hereinafter referred to as Pêro de Teive Bay, will be governed.
The Terms and Conditions presented apply to the relationship between the visitor, hereinafter referred to as the Client, and Pêro de Teive Bay, to the functionalities and rules of the website and to the rules regarding the stay, namely, in terms of operation, hours and services provided, as well as other relevant information.
The use of Pêro de Teive Bay website implies acceptance and full agreement with all the parameters described here in the Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy and Cookies Policy in force presented on the website. If you do not accept, partially or wholly, any of the stipulated conditions, you must not take any action on the website.
Our main objective is the satisfaction of our customers and for this Pêro de Teive Bay undertakes to satisfy, in a timely and diligent manner, all reservations made on the website, as well as the delivery, under the best conditions, of all hired services by the Client.
Pêro de Teive Bay reserves the right to update, change, delete or change any content of this Terms and Conditions, as well as the website without prior notice. It is advisable to periodically check the Terms and Conditions for any changes or updates.
In situations that are not provided for in the Terms and Conditions, the applicable legislation is used.
- Reservations
In order to make your effective reservation, you will be forwarded to an external link.
Reservations are only considered confirmed after payment of the total amount of the stay, otherwise reservations are canceled by Pêro de Teive Bay.
Group reservations must be made by email geral@peroteivebay.com, as they obey different confirmation and cancellation rules.
- Prices
All prices on the website are per apartment per day, including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated on the website or in the confirmation email. The daily rate includes buffet breakfast, served in the restaurant. Please check carefully the description and rate of the apartment before making your reservation.

Children up to 2 years old (including) have free stay. Pêro de Teive Bay must always be informed of the inclusion of a child in the reservation so that the apartment can be adapted: placement of a crib, towels, among others.
For children between 3 and 10 years old, 50% of the difference in the price between double and triple will be charged.
It is the Client’s responsibility to inform Pêro de Teive Bay of the number of people (adults and children) who will occupy the appartement.
- Check In e Check Out
Pêro de Teive Bay apartments are available from 2 pm on the arrival date.
The Client must inform Pêro de Teive Bay, 48 hours in advance, of the arrival time. It is at this moment that Pêro de Teive will indicate the respective check-in procedure.
The Client must leave the apartment unoccupied with people and goods and without any damage by 12:00 on the departure date.
If the apartment is not unoccupied until the time defined in these Terms and Conditions, and without any justification or prior consent from Pêro de Teive Bay, compensation corresponding to the price of one night will be charged, with the Client only having the right to use the accommodation for that period if available.
- Services
Pêro de Teive Bay provides the following services to its Clients:
- Reception: 24h service not available;
- Online Help Desk – Available 24h a day;
- Breakfast: included in the daily rate;
- Free WiFi;
- Business Service Spot;
- Parking: private and free – The Hotel is not responsible for damages caused or thefts occurred with the vehicles during the stay in the park;
- Laundry service;
- Nautical Centre: schedualing nautical activities;
- Spa: Jacuzzi, Turkish Bath, Sauna and Scottish shower (towels provided) – The use of the SPA implies the payment of a fee, unless you book a thematic program that already includes this service. This service is subject to prior appointment and with limited spaces;
- Outdoor swimming pool.
- Payments Terms
The payment of the accommodation value during the stay and other services must be paid at the time of booking confirmation.
This amount will be mentioned at the end of your reservation and may vary according to the promotional rate, or the type of apartment chosen by the Client.
Pêro de Teive Bay accepts the following payments:
- Credit Card: With this payment method, you will be asked to provide us with your card details to guarantee your reservation. All payments will be processed securely, and the processing of provided data is confidential and non-transferable. Charges made to credit cards will be made solely and exclusively by Pêro de Teive Bay. Pêro de Teive Bay undertakes to respond to any request submitted by the cardholder within a maximum period of two days. Pêro de Teive Bay recommends that you keep a copy of the transaction data for future reference if necessary. The transaction will be carried out after confirming the reservation, at which time the respective digital voucher will be sent with detailed information. Pêro de Teive Bay guarantees the refund of the reservation amount in case of valid exercise of Client’s withdrawal, if applicable, as defined in the Consumer Protection legislation.
- Multibanco: When selecting this payment method when making the reservation, an Multibanco reference is automatically generated, which will be made available to the Client in the reservation confirmation email. This modality requires the payment of the reservation within 24 hours of its being made, otherwise it may be canceled by Pêro de Teive Bay. This payment method is only valid for Portugal.
- Bank Transfer: To make your payment this way, you must make a bank transfer using the following details:

The reservation is only definitively secured after sending the bank transfer proof with reservation’s reference to the following email: geral@peroteivebay.com
- Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy is common to all reservations made on the website, applying to all reservations with a mandatory deposit.
- If you do not check-in at the accommodation unit on the first day of the reservation without notifying, Pêro de Teive Bay reserves the right to cancel your reservation and may apply a penalty of up to 100% of the reservation.
- For reservation modifications, fees may be apply.
- In case of cancellation, the entire reservation may be charged. Delivery Rules and Deadlines: Pêro de Teive Bay undertakes to provide the contracted service, as well as the respective digital voucher, as soon as the booking process is completed within a maximum period of 24 hours. Pêro de Teive Bay gives the Customer the possibility of canceling the reservation through the right of free withdrawal, up to 30 days before arrival, provided, without any justification or cost. Pêro de Teive Bay undertakes to refund the amount charged in the event of a cancellation validated by the previous point. After this period, the Hotel reserves the right of non-return, unless contractually agreed in writing, another option between the parties.
- Without prejudice to the general conditions and cancellation policy already described, there may be specific conditions indicated in the reservation voucher.

Complaints regarding material defect
The Client must inspect the apartment upon arrival and immediately report any defects found at the reception.
Any defects that may arise during the stay must be reported to Pêro de Teive Bay reception as soon as the Client becomes aware of them.
Upon verifying that there is indeed a defect in the Client’s apartment, Pêro de Teive Bay has the right to choose between repairing it or relocating the Client to another apartment that has at least the same category contracted with the Client.
For the purposes, only serious defects likely to jeopardize the level of service and quality will be considered, and Pêro de Teive Bay is not obliged to take any action in the case of complaints that are irrelevant, unreasonable or that relate to details that do not conflict with the minimum level of contracted service.
If Pêro de Teive Bay does not have the means to repair the relevant defect or to replace the Client’s apartment for another of equivalent or higher category, the Client may only cancel the contract and receive the price paid for the apartment, nothing else can be demanded to Pêro de Teive Bay.
- Responsibility of Pêro de Teive Bay
Pêro de Teive Bay is responsible for ensuring adequate conditions of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the accommodation.
Pêro de Teive Bay is not responsible for personal belongings that may disappear within the venture.

Client’s Rights and Duties
Client Rights
- Confidentiality of Pêro de Teive Bay regarding the use of the Client’s personal data;
- Cleaning of the apartment and common areas;
- Free WiFi.
Client Duties
- Respect the rules established by collaboration in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Honor the personal dignity of Pêro de Teive Bay employees, guests and/or others.
- In the event of theft, property damage, fire, flooding, anomalies, or deficiencies in the accommodation, as well as in the general stay and in the services provided, the Client must immediately report it to Pêro de Teive Bay employees, so that these are resolved as quickly as possible.
- Use the Pêro de Teive Bay, apartments and common areas, in an appropriate and careful way, taking responsibility whenever it causes any damage to the accommodation.
- Not claiming property, the goods belonging to the accommodation unit.
- Rules
- The Client must not use devices that could endanger the safety of people and Pêro de Teive Bay facilities.
- It is forbidden to smoke inside the Pêro de Teive Bay apartaments, common spaces and open fires inside the facilities. Smoking areas are designated.
- Carrying a weapon or sharp instrument that could endanger your and others life.
- As a matter of respect and understanding for all guests, special attention is asked for silence in the common areas. It is not allowed to produce noise or activities that cause noise between 11 pm and 7 am.
- Pets
Pets are not accepted.
- Property damage and loss
The Client is obliged to indemnify Pêro de Teive Bay for any damage caused to the accommodation and/or the respective facilities/support areas, as well as damages arising from the breach of the obligations presented in these Terms and Conditions, including attorney fees and costs judicial.
- Complaints and Compliments
Pêro de Teive Bay provides complaints books and compliments book.
Legal Provisions
Unless otherwise stated, the software necessary for our services, available or used by our website and the intellectual property rights (including copyright) in the content, information and material on our website are owned by AZORES 7 DAY APARTMENTS, LDA, its suppliers or providers. To the extent permitted by law, these terms and conditions and the performance of our services shall be governed and construed in accordance with Portuguese law and any dispute arising from these general terms and conditions and our services will be submitted to the competent courts of Ponta Delgada, Portugal.
